Process
At SYTS, we continuously refine our processes to extend the life of natural materials—streamlining production while reducing environmental impact at every stage.
Quality Begins
with the Hide
The quality of leather is determined before processing ever begins—with the selection of the raw hide. SYTS sources rigorously selected hides, evaluating cattle breed, farming conditions, and origin. By working with major U.S. suppliers such as Cargill, JBS, and Tyson, we secure hides of consistent quality and superior grade.

Fully Integrated
SYTS Process
SYTS operates the entire leather production process in-house, from start to finish. Each hide is assigned a unique identification number at the preparation stage, enabling full traceability and precise quality control through final finishing—ensuring consistent, reliable results.

1.
Preparing
The hide surface is refined and unnecessary proteins and residues are removed. This foundational step ensures uniform quality and stabilizes all subsequent processes.

2.
Tanning
A critical stage that gives leather its flexibility and durability. Processes are adjusted to each hide’s condition, forming the core physical properties required across different industries.

3.
Shaving
Leather thickness is precisely adjusted to meet the functional and environmental requirements of the final product, ensuring consistent performance.

4.
Dyeing
Color and elasticity are applied according to product-specific needs. This stage balances aesthetic accuracy with flexibility and long-term durability.

5.
Drying
Leather is carefully dried to stabilize its structure, maintaining consistent form, strength, and softness.

6.
Finishing
Surface texture and tactile quality are refined through various finishing methods, ensuring the desired appearance, feel, and protection from contamination.

7.
Inspection & Grading
Finished leather is thoroughly inspected, classified by specification, and prepared for shipment. This final step confirms quality standards and completes the SYTS process.
